I believe Ciccone is out

Yes indeed very unfortunate, recent + test for covid apparently, and symptoms.

I will make amendments to the start-list later.

Stage 2 : Teramo - San Salvo (202km)

Despite a couple of 4th category climbs this is essentially a sprint finish race ending, and a stage win chance for Mark Cavendish :slightly_smiling_face: :+1:

Thanks Debs - series recording has been set!
We watched the highlights on Eurosport last night at 8pm. The usual Orla & co. are ok but they added half an hour of pointless wittering to the show, dragging it out to 90 minutes. Hopefully the Dmax edition will be more focussed as it is 60 minutes.
Shame that ITV4 isn’t covering it as their coverage and commentary is so much better. I can’t believe that Sean “Yes, well” Kelly is still part of the Eurosport team - he is beyond dire!

How differently we can view things. I happen to believe that Sean Kelly is a complete legend to the sport of cycling, he remains actively involved in the sport and provides great incite. He does of course have his moments, but that’s just part of his character - a facet increasingly absent in sports coverage these days.

A crash on the final kilometre approach delayed a couple of sprinter favourites, the cause would seem to be poor planing of road narrowing.
