Took delivery of a new 222. Upon opening the box, the remote and link plugs seemed to have been excluded. Not just missing, but excluded. Anyone else experience this?
Get on the blower to your dealer.
It looks like someone may have been jumped the gun a bit during the final packing or picked from the wrong bunch that were still awaiting their plugs. As long as there are people involved I guess mistakes can happen. Best contact your supplying dealer and let them know.
No issues with my 222 earlier in the year, get hold of your store and ask them to get the missing bits, clearly human error when finalising the packing (Friday afternoon or Monday morning packing ).
Let Naim customer service know as well, they can address this with the team packing the units leaving the factory, helps in stopping this from happening again.
Hello Mabelode,
I experienced this with a new sealed atom headphone edition and a missing remote control. Sent a picture to my online dealer in France and everything was sorted in a couple of weeks.
Looks to me like you have the accessories for a power amp! I can’t remember exactly, but I think the interconnects and fibre optic cables come with a power amp…
Hopefully your dealer will sort out this out for you.
It does look like the accessory pack for a NC350. Hopefully there’s not a 350 owner somewhere unpacking their amp and wondering why they have a pair of link plugs and no XLR cable !
Hope @Mabelode gets it sorted ok.
Let’s hope not
There’s only one XLR cable, so the 350 accessory pack is the most plausible explanation. The user manual is for a 222 though, so a couple of mix ups going on.
Was this box factory sealed when you received it? Some dealers open boxes to check there’s been no transport damage.
Yes it was sealed
I expect there will be
Or, perhaps more likely, the people in goods out will be wondering why they have one more 222 kit than they thought and one less kit for a 350…
