So far I have not bought ? Staying at 282 and no plans for 552
I do have plans to buy source upgrades and a new rega planar turntable or maybe a LP12… Naim turntable too expensive
Does it mean forum has failed

I wonder how much time will you resist from buying a Chord amp to go with your Dave, as so many have done that, like Bluesfan, Chrissu, Simon S….
I have today had delivery of a Hicap DR for my SX-2. Before putting in in, I’d though I’d try it on my 82 to compare with the non DR SC that I am running. The non DR SC is going back on the 82. It is superior sounding to the HC DR.
Edit: The HC DR sounds a little flat and deadened by comparison.
Sticking with the Naim pre amp, it’s taken too long to get here to change direction.
Ask me how it came to be that I look in my music room and see 252/SCDR/300DR, NDX2/XPSDR; Superline/SCDR and two Fraim racks.
