My 300 non-DR just shut itself off. I opened the fuse box where the spare fuse was located and replaced it without any issues. Everything is back to normal.

Question: I’m from Hong Kong, and both my 252/SuperCap DR, uniticor & 300 non-DR were switched from 230V to 110V by the Hong Kong dealer (Radar) before I moved to Canada. However, the spare fuse may still be rated at T3.15A instead of the correct 110V (6.35A). Could this cause any problems? I’m also wondering if it’s safe to leave my equipment running 24/7 like I used to back in the day.

If the fuse needs to be replaced, where can I find a T6.35A fuse in Toronto?

🙏 thx

The brand used by naim is littelfuse; you should be able to find a source local to you.
A lower rated fuse than the one needed would be more sensitive to blowing; it’s going to a higher A rated one that should be avoided.

I think the existing FAQ topic covers the issue adequately.

> Should the protection fuse blow on any piece of Naim equipment, make sure you get the exact same make and type - this is important. Your Naim dealer can help, or else get in touch with Naim support. NEVER be tempted to bypass or “uprate” the equipment fuse. Doing so is extremely dangerous. Among other things, the fuse is there to protect against fire in the event of a catastrophic failure. Not only will you void any warranty but you will also put your home, your life and those of your fam…
