I have always thought it a missed opportunity for this forum not to have a “known bugs” section. My below issue would be recognized by myself and I would settle with knowing a solution is in the pipeline. Now, most likely, someone will reply “to contact your dealer”. I have in the past, but their response usually is: we contacted the importer and they don’t recognize it, so probably a bug and hopefully solved in a firmware update.
Anyway, so much for that. The issue at hand: my 333/332 have always worked rather fine, with some glitches along the line. But the most annoying issue always returns: headphone volume. Sometimes the volume is stuck. Even though the volume knob turns left on the 332 and the numbers go down on the 333 and even in the app, the volume is stuck at a high level. This sorts itself out in time usually, but today, even after two reboots, one with the system unplugged, it exists still. Anyone with a quick fix on this? Thank you!
There is a reset button on the back of 332. Just try. Maybe it will fix your problem.
Yeah, I was hoping for another one, as it will reset my source numbering. I won’t wait too long though, the issue is rather annoying

Try doing a factory reset of the NAC332 by holding the button on the rear until the volume wheel lights up and keep holding til they go off. You may need to factory reset the NSS333 as well to ensure they pair properly afterwards. If so, make sure you set the volume out on the 333 to fixed before you pair them.
Annoying I know, but this usually fixes the odd volume control quirk. Once the factory reset has been done, you may wish to reset the volume output from its default 80%
The usual “fixes” didn’t work, so I ended up using the reset. It worked.
Thus: known bug for the 332, headphone volume stuck at high level, even though the system show that the level can be changed.
How wonderful an open, transparent, bug communication would be. Here’s hoping for a future fix and also a more user focused accessible big list.
