333 relay issue?

Came home today and my 333 was making relay switch noise every 2-3 seconds continuously. Never heard before. I thought I heard a clock at first. After a reboot with my connected 555PS it’s back to normal.

Anyone have had the same experience?

My NSC 222 did that. Every time I put it into Standby it would repeatedly click-click. Sometimes for minutes. Sometimes it would start doing it all on its own (when in Standby). However, in normal operation it was fine.

I recorded it for diagnostic purposes and my dealer took it back and sent it to Naim to be fixed. All sorted now.

I leave mine always on and never change inputs so bit strange it started doing that out of nowhere. Fingers crossed it was a one time hiccup.

You might have had a momentary power outage. Not enough for a full powerdown, but enough to disturb circuitry. I recall my 332/333 needed to be rebooted after this happened to me.

My 222 used to do that. I would never put it in standby and after a few weeks/months it would start clicking. It would stop after removing power and restarting. This was years ago and if I remember correctly I messaged Naim about it and they stated they weren’t aware of the issue. However, in my experience, that’s what they always say when I bring an issue to their attention.
