Fair play that is above and beyond for service

Very much above and beyond! Assume it’s either Ross or Ed? Say hello from me

Someone called Darren I think he said could be wrong I was stressed cooking our evening meal at the same time as talking, multitasking isn’t something I do well

Can the G3 be modified to G4 spec or is it a case of trading your existing G3 in against a new G4 purchase?
Asking because I have hopeful visions of some cheap, second-hand G3’s becoming available…

Looking at all this mains block stuff, i am glad i sunk all mine in the wall, no floor to get in the way lol

Oh I have no idea then

Not sure…but my gut feeling is its a trade in…so you could be lucky. Or if they are clever and “green” its a slow rollout and they recycle G3 to G4. I could live with that.

Well BF, you are my only witness to what delirious madness has gone on my end in the past. For no apparent reason I’ve managed to delete the picture I send you at one point, where the G3 box achieves a state of weightlessness. Any chance of posting that photo on my thread when it kicks off Christmas day some time. I shall promise to keep this subject strictly scientific ie you won’t get into trouble :joy:. I shall be looking forward to some severe ridiculing, but hey who cares it’s Christmas for goodness sake! :snowman_with_snow: Happy Christmas to you, Peter

Do you know that Gazza ?

Musicworks acouplex platform

I have heard of it…but do not know anyone that uses it. The boffin at musicworks by all accounts knows what he is doing?

Tim, it has been great reading about your journey, trialing, and then going on to purchase the Titans. I have heard the Titan range many times at HiFi shows over the past few years, and have always come away very impressed - they really do seem to be excellent loudspeakers. Combined with your new NAP 500, I’m sure you will be in for many happy hours listening over the coming weeks. Enjoy, and please continue to keep us updated!!

Too much decoupling going on here? :flamingo:

(From bottom: Audioplan TransferDiscs - slab of slate (fends off the vacuum robot too) - Audioplan TransferDiscs - spikes - Sicomin carbon-kevlar honeycomb base - PowerIgel Plus spiked and sprung. The Power-Lines will get some additional dressing once the still-missing two additional rack levels are delivered; Covid delays)

That is one quiet Hedgehog!

Are the connections at the hedgehog end mechanically decoupled like the Naim (UK) Powerlines ?

Doesn’t look like it, looking at the black screws where the Power-Lines go into the tube. But one of the points of the PowerIgel is that all the Power-Lines are welded to common connection point (or three, for each wire) on the inside, so I don’t know how feasible an attempt to decouple would be. I.e, the cables extend through these black screws into the tube. However, the whole tube is of course decoupled on its springs.

Music-Line says nothing on the topic, but given that they are the German Naim distributor and by all accounts worked closely with Naim to develop the PowerIgel, I suppose they considered these things.

Made a rather big improvement for my system (as well it should for the price of seven Power-Lines … )

Makes sense - only the UK Powerline is decoupled at the plug as far as I know, I just wondered if MusicLine had come up with something.
