I’ve been hanging on to see if the 350 is a 500DR killer. As good as it’s reported to be I concluded not, otherwise a dealer would have put them head to head by now. And then a nice 500DR came up at an irresistible price.

When I upgraded my 300 to 500 it was the biggest SQ upgrade I’ve done. Maybe because the other components were already at that level and waiting to shine. I’ve read the DR on a 500 is a biggie and my other components will have even more to give as a result
I’m not sure who’s the more relieved 
My NDS suddenly feels like a weak link now tho

Prices are lowest I’ve seen them at the mo. I think now is the time to look for pre owned upgrades. I can’t see them staying this low as the dust settles after the recent releases.
I only had one eye open but I had to swoop. Doubt a 500DR has ever gone for less.

Lol, I was tempted, just by the price. Fortunately ( for my marriage) I’m in the middle of something else at the moment

When we all thought we could relax in Stu getting a 500DR it takes 30 minutes and the NDS is up for the green mile 
I’m still here defending the 500 non-DR so be nice.

Don’t know what you paid, but mine was £8k but that was a few years ago.
Anyway enjoy it as it’s a great amp, but still slightly laughing as it was only this morning i reading your other thread “the point where an upgrade becomes risky” lol.

I’ll be honest about the DR. It’s going to take a hell of an amp to beat the mighty 500.
