I upgraded from 252/SuperCapDR to 552 non- DR, having had a lengthy home demo of the 552.
I was actually deciding whether to upgrade the pre-amp or the streamer (NDS to ND555, both with PS555DR) at that time.
The 552 stayed and I traded in my 252. No comparison. All that has been said about the 552 is true.
