Hi all. I hope it’s ok to share here my recent experience with recapping my 555 DR, at the ServiceEU in Warsaw, Poland. I ordered the service via email, got formal confirmation that all transports are fully insured (critical for a 10 KEUR retail price device), the unit was picked-up on a Friday and returned precisely 3 weeks later. I am attaching the full service report, detailing the operations and parts replaced. They even returned the old parts, as proof of replacement.
I’d say that it is absolutely exceptional value at 1050 EUR (including transport), to restore that device back to initial specs. Highly recommended!
So tants are changed in each of the DR modules as well as the big caps?
Whilst it is nice to say something is “ in spec/passed the test”, id prefer to see the criteria/tolerance and the actual figures. Always useful for future reference.
Plus, it would be good to do these tests before and after the service to demonstrate the effectiveness of the service.
