Looking to upgrade to ndx2 from n272 as it doesnt support 5ghz wifi. Can anyone verify 5ghz support on ndx2 and its performance?
yes it does and it works just fine

I’ve just gone from a wired connection to wireless on my NDX 2 after 4 years. I’ve finally got it all to work again. Needless to say - my EE 8Switch, Farad Super 3 & 2xAQ Vodka ethernet cables will now be going to a new home. Less clutter with no drop in quality. What a revelation.

Yes, this is rather an ear opener for me. There’s very little in it. If anything i’d say in wireless mode there’s a tad more detail, openness and dynamics, although not quite as smooth sounding as a wired setup. Neither way detracts from the enjoyment of the listening experience.
One massive gain however is in the financial side of things. I must’ve spent around £2,500 on tuning my wired network over the years. All of this could’ve been avoided. We live and learn. Without doing any of this stuff how does one find out? Now I know
