Out of nothing other than curiosity, who has had good results using the HDD out to run a power amp?
Was thinking of taking the next step to an XS or SN, however there’s plenty of power amps out there that might fit the bill.
Unfortunately you can’t use the HDD output to drive a power amp. It’s a fixed level output so there is no control of volume. I’d look at the XS and SN options as you suggest.

As James posts above, you can’t use the NAIT 5i as a pre-amp into a separate power amp.
