A carbon budget

I saw some pics in the paper Don, and it looked to have what I’m going to call a Schneider Trophy paint job.

Anyway it’s a serious project as you say, and I was glad to see some evidence of thinking and doing, rather than talking.

How much more political can you get?

Which is excellent of course, but will that result in less carbon emitted to the atmosphere?

It’s all for nothing if the total carbon emitted exceeds the budget.

I agree. However, what will motivate producers to do this? Consumers.

It’s consumers that ultimately decide what to buy. Consumers need the information to make informed choices. Otherwise we can only hope or trust that producers are doing what they say.

Agreed. That’s why I said “not sure about the carbon budget”

And it’s not just carbon that is causing unwanted/unsustainable change.

Yeah I agree, ideally we’d consider overall impact but I accept that is much harder to measure.
