That is fugly. Offensive to my eyes, and definitely wouldn’t achieve WAF.
At first glance I assumed that was a composite front/rear mashup, but alas not. Googling shows a range of products with similar aesthetics. Sure they will appeal to someone.

I think Ifi have always had a design problem. I have one of their streamers and functionally it is superb but I’ve commented before that aesthetically it’s a massive fail. For the Zen Stream the only had to make a case with 2 buttons and 2 LEDs and they still cocked it up.
I forgive it because it is small.
But Hifi Rose is just one of the worse. Like they just copied design elements from the past 70 years and just cynically threw them together thinking “this is what those stupid ass audiophiles like”

I owned one of these for a while, but as ugly and quirky as it is, I thought it sounded very good.
I had to use Roon with it, their own App was so bad.
There it is in action, kind of a transition time for me, so excuse the cables.

When I look at a screen, the only thing I can think is, “that isn’t going to last me 20 years.”
The screen will die and replacements will be non existent.

I have more than once thought that ifi have some very attractive products (The Valkyrie in black..) I think if I am spending £4000 + I would want something that was , well easier on the eye
