ABBA or Sibelius?

If you had to choose as above what would be your choice?

Sibelius.

Strange topic…LOL

I love my Sibelius records and have never bought an Abba album ever. I doubt I would even recognize a single Abba song.

Neither

If you like both, why limit yourself to one, enjoy them both.

Finlandia alone in musical terms outstrips anything by Abba, you did ask!

I have to admit that ABBA is already more present in my playlists and local files, so I think I’d go for Sibelius then just for getting more acquainted.

I think we need a wild comparison thread!
Stockhausen or the Undertones?

As I’m off to my second visit to Voyager next Saturday, that’ll have to be ABBA :clinking_glasses::man_dancing::musical_note::grinning:

Well obviously Slade and by some distance.

Much as these comparisons are enjoyably silly they do tend to bring out the very worst of the absolutist in people. The implication that nothing by Abba could ever match anything by Sibelius is just plain silly. What specifically are the comparison points for example? I like both. End of.

FZ said there are only 2 types of music, good and bad!

Mind you. There are some links between the two:

First Aid Kit or Anna Von Haussewolff for me. Nothing wrong with a bit of Abba or Sibelius though.

Tiny Tim or Des O’ Connor

Best known Scandinavian classical artist vs. best known Scandinavian pop artists. But you need to add “Jazz at the Pawnshop” as a third option. :grinning:
