Accessing and Controlling a Core from OSX

I have a Naim Core playing through a DAC in my main system.

In a different room, I have an iMac running OSX with Audirvana Plus, which feeds a DAC and a stereo amplifier and speakers which I use to play music from my iMac on.

I was wondering today whether it is possible to access the Core from the iMac and control it either from the iMac, so that I don’t have to buy a streamer to do it?

Any advice for a cheap solution would be very welcome.

There are plenty of ways to access a network music store on a Mac. Perhaps Audirvana can see it. If not, a free app called VLC should. Or even iTunes!?
