Active subwoofers and sensitivity rating

Does anybody know why active subwoofers do not have sensitivity rating?

Manufacturers of audio speakers (bookshelf and floorstanding) always provide sensitivity rating in their speakers specification (for example 87dB (2.83V / 1m)).

But I couldn’t find any active subwoofer with provided sensitivity rating. Why?

Because they all have built-in power amplifiers and so you can adjust the sensitivity over a wide range (and also adjust the frequency at which they come into play). The concept of sensitivity doesn’t really apply to them.
