Hi guys , I’m intending on adding a power amp to my Naim Nova but am unsure of the best way to connect it up
Initially I was thinking about using xlr connections but the nova only has one socket , whereas the power amp (Nad m23) has two
I don’t think i can use interconnects to connect the power amp to the nova as my subs are connected to the Nova that way
Any ideas guys?
Thanks for your time
Pete
Hi @Fizzgog - the Nova has 2 ‘Single Ended’ outputs on the back which would perfectly connect to the NAD M23 if you ask me. The Outer output is not a balanced one, but is a DIN output, merely used for Naim Power amplifiers.

Hi mate , thanks for the reply.
I’m using the single ended connections for my subs currently . If I were to use those connections for the M23 , how would you recommend i connect the sub(s)?
Ty again , pete

Unfortunately, I do not have any experience with connecting subs … a quick search on the forum might help you:
You can connect the sub to the RCAs and the NAD to the din, using an appropriate lead. Bear in mind that adding a power amp to a Nova may not improve things, so try before you buy.
