Album info on Naim app

Hi. I’m in the process of ripping my CD collection using dBPoweramp to rip my CDs to an external hard drive. I’m using the Naim app to find my hard drive where my music is stored. Noticed that when I click on an album using the app, there’s a small book icon and when you click on that you get lots of info about the album sometimes with a review of the album. But I’ve noticed that on quite a few occasions, the info is for a completely different artist that just happens to have the same album title. Where does this info come from? Am I just stuck with this issue? I’m not sure where I go to solve this?

The booklet is accessed online from the Rovi database. Unfortunately the search doesn’t always get it right, as you have discovered.

You can search here and it sometimes updates the metadata correctly.

Thanks. That’s not the Naim app I assume? What site is that? Is that the Rovi database?

No that’s on the Naim app but it just searches based on your enquiry. Still doesn’t always find what you want though but if it does then the app retains the info should you access the booklet again in future.
