Your insights are precisely, on the ‘money’.
My wife says I have the same problem:
My taste is… expensive oriented.
I do a small number of Christmas cards. I ask people to instead donate to Nystagmus Network, Albinism UK and Nordoff Robbins. Mostly greeted with bewilderment.
The man in red is bringing a small number of very expensive rare CDs; a nice selection of books across many genres and a month off work. More than anything I would simply like the opportunity to escape Greater Manchester and get to North Wales to see my elderly parents.
No wife, no children, I’m not caring for Mum this Christmas for the first time as she died in June. (Yes.)
So for me, a Sainsbury’s dinner and music on all day. I have a biography of Henry Cartier Bresson that I am saving to start on the twenty-fifth.
I hope I resist a 250DR.
Bought some Herbie’s Tenderfoot for the 30 kg KW250S. Still waiting for a letter from America. Also some Talisker. Unfortunately that didn’t survive , I cracked it open. Just as well, my wife does not approve of alcoholic presents (think of the kids!). Still, I am enjoying the BrewDog advent calendar that I did not get for my recent birthday
Can you adopt me, please?!
Resistance is futile. You only live once!
I know it, you know it, but I have to at least pretend I don’t ‘need’ one.
How do you resist such large beautiful pineapple and heat sinks and reservoirs? I mean toroidal transformer.
I’ve ordered myself some Buckbootz safety wellington boots to help laying heavy concrete blocks in this winter that little more comfortable. I now have the cash for two full fat Fraims (side by side)but that will now wait for the new year ahead.
Amazing. The Fraims will be the icing on the cake for your wonderful system.
On a Hifi level a pair of minions would be nice
On a personal level for all the people I know and for the members of this forum (especially those suffering from the stresses of CV19 ) a healthy and peaceful new year
Fantastic ! . . . That takes me back. When I was an early teenager at the end of the 60’s I used to visit my uncle in Lincolnshire who had a pair of these. One dark blue and another a mid blue. He let my cousin and I have a race up the field one boxing day morning. Very careful when cornering of course. (at the time I thought it was the best Christmas present i’d ever had)
Apparently we were not considered too young for this, because when my uncle was a lad, he was the first one on the farm to work a Fordson tractor with its own nightlights, at the age of 14.
No p0rn allowed on here😀
Your screen name is apt.
What’s the third channel? (The 2 at the end of the pre numbers denotes a stereo amp.)
I stand corrected, what should it be?
