Refreshing compared to the two Internet Radio update threads…
I’m waiting for the ‘slightly’ variants to appear.
As the owner of an older gen 1 streamer, a 272, I am ambivalent because an update of internet radio for the old streamers is not yet available. On the plus side, it is good that Naim promise to make an update for a product they no longer produce. Because Vtuner is working at the moment I am not too anxious for the radio update.

I’ve found out where the floating/chassis switch is on the back of my kit. I’ve entered the Naim support phone into speed dial. I am ready to be outraged or delighted at a change in sound quality. All I need is a firmware update for the 272.
Interestingly if one finds the ip address of one’s Naim streamer and then navigates to
this opens a cornucopia of options that one must not touch - and if one shows such self restraint you’ll be rewarded with a resolution of any SQ problems you have had with the Naim update.
However some people seem to be navigating to
http://ip/3magicbeans which is apparently the streamverylimited boards control page which has the ability and propensity to cause one’s Naim streamer to turn into the basic unit of construction, which even in this era for a known need of more house building apparently is undesirable.
I have to admit that all this is changing my opinion of the new Naim update from ambivalent to equivocal.

Obviously my attempt to mix the wit of Wilde with some Swiftian absurdity whilst all the time holding true to Burke’s sense of propriety with a slight twist of Yeatsian insight - might not have worked as well as I expected !
