Amp gets warm

My nait xs3 gets slightly warm when listening to headphones. When using speakers it remains at room temperature. Why does this happen?

It’s very likely because the headphone amplifier is Class A. Class A amplifiers run warm.

I use Shure srh840. They are 45 Ohms, so should be fine, right?

Sounds fine to me.
