General comment is that it looks as though you have a hicap sitting on top of the 250? Separate that if you can.
Why it should vary in sound at different times is strange. Have you tried re routing the various cables and reseating them?
Yes, this weekend i will try to remove all unnecessary stuff in between and will see the change.

Bruss - yes, HICAP/250 is not connected, as 250 - one channel is off due to dry solder at on one of the board. getting soldered in due course.
Currently paying with NAC72 & NAP140.
Re routing yes i did, but the current one is giving better results.
Add the hicap!
