Analogue 1 &2 no sound from TT

Hi folks, I thought I’d share -previously I had an issue with my TT having no sound through my Uniti Star - worked on other device - so the issue was the star. So I ‘fixed’ it by switching between the default and floating on the ground setting on the Star (logically it shouldn’t matter except possibly some hum potentially - So I don’t accept this was a proper fix ).

Anyway, bear with, the issue came up again, so after the usual checks, firmware etc etc this time post a factory reset I set it up using the app not the remote - it all worked fine straight away.

My only screwball question is - would having rechargeable batteries in the remote be an issue? It did all the set up ok when I used it - but as soon as I used the app post the hard reset the only thing I hear was a mild electrical click - (switch sound) - all working fine now.

I’ve seen a few posts with analogue issues - so I hope this helps - but would love your thoughts on WT Heck this is? Ta. Abel

Do you have a phonostage between your tt and uniti star?

Yes, a Cambridge alva solo.

Rechargeable’s in remotes is a mistake.
They discharge though time used or not so the tipping point of the weakest cell is always unknown.
Completely false economy. :-1:
More wear and damage happens with constantly changing in and out.
