Only just found out. The great Betty Wright died yesterday aged 66. Too damn young to go.
Thank you Betty for one of my all-time favourite records, Clean Up Woman and some great soul music.
Heaven is really bumpin’ now…

That’s sad - oddly I was listening to one of her songs yesterday, having recently completed digitising my 12" single collection. Betty Wright “Sinderella”.
