If it’s been covered before apologies but if I create a UPnP play list on my iPad it won’t be available on my iPhone and vice versa.
I wondered if it was because my iPad being a 7 year vintage is on a different software update to my iPhone. Anyone experienced the same or ideas?

probably not your issue - but on android you do have to close the app to pick up playlists added by different sw
Thanks, yes not the issue here though, I can only think that it’s the iPad not being on the same software update as the iPhone.
UPnP playlists are stored locally on the app, so they are not transferred automatically to other devices. I assume the logic here (if there is any!) is that different users may want to store their own playlists independently of other users.
If this doesn’t suit you, an alternative would be to create and manage your playlists on your UPnP server. How easy that is will depend on which server you run, but if you do this, they will appear in the Server input on the Naim app and will be available on any device.
