Just received yet another FOMO upgrade offer from Qobuz…. Just 72 hours to…. etc., etc.
Qobuz do seem to be sending quite a few of these of late, whilst by comparison Tidal appears relatively quiet, whether or not this reflects revenue streams/issues I have no idea.
Nevertheless, it serves to confirm my view that monthly subscriptions, although a little more expensive, are the way to go.
Hmmm; I am approaching the 6th anniversary of taking out a lifetime’s subscription to Roon. Cost USD 700 / GBP 556. Current monthly price is USD15 (probably plus 20% VAT).
6x12x18= USD1,300. I am more than glad I went via the long term sub route …
