Any experience with Burmester 948?

Electricity and power is not an area I have any experience in. Since I invested quite an amount in my Hi-Fi gear I went and selected good quality leads and power blocks (so far I investmented in “Hi-Fi” grade power sockets from Furutech, quality power blocks from NYX (Titan line) and Naim PowerLines… I was for a long time considering a PS Audio Powerplant as an AC regenerator to ensure my electric current feed was as clean/stable as possible.

Friends of mine recommended the Audioquest Niagara 3000 and then I came across the Burmester 948 which seems to be on the high end of things…

I read a few comments cautioning against using power conditioners with Naim gear, keen to hear if anyone has thoughts about the PS Audio option or the Burmester option and how that may work with Naim gear…

Auditioning any of these is out of the question as I live in a place that will now offer me that luxury…

It may or may not help, but Burmester equipment is exceptionally well built. It will do whatever it says it is supposed to do. Most Naim purists wont use a conditioner.

That’s what I often read, a big no-no to power conditioners, although I would imagine there are lots of ways to design power conditioners so some may turn out to be favorable with Naim gear.
