Any good ideas for CD’s in a cupboard

Deeg, it most likely is but almost as certainly I would balls it up. However I do have my chippie mate coming round on Monday to finish off a couple of bits in the kitchen and the idea is an interesting one that I’ll put to him.

A combination of some of these ideas could really work.

Cheers all.

This is how we store our hundreds of CDs. Ikea boxes on Billy book cases.

we recently got rid of a cd player (and separates system). They are still handy if we need them for a car. It works for us.

It’s nice FR but not a capacity play. Might work in the cabin …

That’s a pretty cool solution .

Why not buy a load of these interlocking racks from Hama

The capacity is there, or I didn’t understood your need.

Thanks, will take a gander.

If you have a filing system eg alphabetically, by artist by label etc I find it easier to insert new items or move things around when you have plain shelves rather than slots.

These are custom made

Ian Edwards of Harrogate makes some lovely storage units. Elegant but pricey!
I have three of their open shelf units to store my CD’s in a cupboard under the stairs (each unit holds 660 CD’s).

This thread reminds me why I got a steamer and a NAS :joy:

Hello everyone Happy new year

Just signed up to this forum to ask some connection questions, and saw this. And thought I’d send a pic of my cd storage

I use the plastic boxes you can buy at places like stables holds about 20cds has a lid with a seal so keeps dust off

Not sure if it’s what you’re asking for in the OP but Ikea do these shelf inserts for their cube storage. Convenient for keeping CDs and records stored together
