I have a Big Green Egg. Every day is grill season.
Isn’t a grill part of a cooker or oven? Well, it is mine and I use it all year round.
I guess the meaning is BBQ

We had a warm day in February here in Munich and grilled some skewered lamb but we had to eat early before dark.
Since then it has been mostly cold. Today we could have barbied as it is sunny and 16 degrees but we will just enjoy the sunset on the patio and then go back inside for the evening meal. This photo taken at 5:53 pm.
My understanding is that barbeque is with charcoal, though these days it seem common to incorrectly call a portable gas grill intended for outdoor use a gas BBQ. If that is what the O means then he/she has used the correct name!
I did this evening as it has been a lovely day. Used the ancient gas BBQ tonight because it heats quickly, had to find batteries for the stick up motion light, three C cells. Had to do it in the dark but in a week or so it wiil be light!
Oddly not yet.
I’ve let the cheap Aldi Kamado grill get soaked over the winter - I’ve never actually been that impressed with it - either that style of cooking doesn’t suit me or subconsciously I’m wanting to replace it with something better!
yes exactly that i meaned grilling on charcoal or wood, but im curios to see pics of recipes with green egg
In the UK I find the most important piece of equipment for a BBQ/grill has nothing to do with food.
It’s a very large umbrella!
And where I am, a windproof one!
any pic of it making some meat
We use a gas BBQ and an outdoor electric wood fire oven all year round, our courtyard is pretty much a second kitchen/dining area.
Still in hibernation. Bought at the end of last season so no point in opening it.
We have always had volcanic rocks over gas. Can’t seem to get them anymore. This is just gas. Not long now!!!
You can buy volcanic rocks on amazon.
Yes, but there is no tray/compartment to put them in on this one, from memory.
yesterday was serious outdoor coocking day toke my cast iron pan to river and made some herbed rib eye steaks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geEaS23QVdM&t=228s
We had our first BBQ yesterday afternoon as the weather was particularly nice.
We had given the patio a good clean earlier in the week so we thought that we’d use it.
Mind you, I did build a covered pergola to keep the BBQ area dry during the traditional English summer weather.
DG…
We’ve more volcanic rocks than we know what to do with. We literally live on an extinct volcano and can see quite a few out the front windows. Garden is full of them. We even brought more in from my in-laws farm.
