I can’t get there website to load properly.
When I search on Google maps the address appears to be a block flats, although there may be retail on the ground floor - Google maps may be out of date as they were only incorporated last year..
Fine for me. I’d be a little wary of somewhere with no phone number or address; while the items may be fine it’s maybe risky if something goes wrong down the line.
20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU is a postbox registered office address only. There are 100s of companies registered at that addess, some more substantial/legitimate than others. Very little on Companies House. The sole registered director is Enock Nkosana Ncube (40 years old). This appears to be his/her only limited company.
Website loaded fine. On some of the product pictures you can see they are taken in a room/garage/industrial unit with unfinished concrete block walls which might reinforce the Outlet element of the company name.
Starting a new business is daunting enough without worrying about your home address appearing on the public register for your company, which it will if you use it as your company’s registered office address.**
Luckily, we do offer a [Registered Office Service] that enables you to use our 20-22 Wenlock Road address as the registered office. It’s perfect for protecting your privacy whilst also giving a great impression to your business contacts
Their “About us” page says every item we sell undergoes a comprehensive 70+ point diagnostic check. I’d be inclined to them to list the 70+ points that the checked on whatever it is…
I’ve had clients down the years who resist putting their full contact information on their website: “why do people need my address when all interaction will be online?” etc.
Audio Outlet’s website demonstrates why it’s essential. They might be legit, but the site screams “avoid”.
Plenty of other hi-fi vendors more deserving of your time and money, especially in these challenging times.
