The speakers I’ve heard from Totem have no problems with speed, timing and boogie, on the contrary, something of their parade I would say, which makes them an excellent match together with Naim.
Everything is relative, have you heard Naim speakers ?
Yes, I’ve heard Naim speakers, probably works well for some just as Totem works for others…
Yes it’s hard for me to stand the lack of PRaT compared to Naim speakers ,but if you don’t feel that good for you.
Personally… I have neither Totem nor Naim speakers, there are many other good brands out there just to listen for those who want…
Naim systems and Naim speakers have a special synergy, I think.
When it comes to synergy, there are also other brands that are developed with Naim in mind for those who want to compare…
Yes early Linn speakers and Royd speakers ,works very well.
So you prefer old stuff? Yes, nothing wrong with that, of course.
When it comes to Linn,it was in the early days when their speakers were designed with Naim electronics.
At one point I believe they did but Dynaudio stopped selling their drivers to other manufacturers a number of years back (maybe ~10-15), so no longer the case.
They use similar China made today.
Yes, I believe the Dynaudio look alike drivers are sourced from HiVi.
Dynaudio is a Chinese owned company.
