I downloaded it to my Star a while back, not sure what improvements it was bringing, but now it shows the progress % for each track when ripping CDs, no downsides I’ve noticed.
Ah, just noticed it’s a new one, so here goes.
Update: have checked the inputs which I use, and everything works fine,
CD, phono, radio, and server, ripping and p!ayback and it may be my imagination but it sounds better (different?) on phones, not tried speakers yet, though. I don’t do streaming, so haven’t checked. So far so good.

I suppose I was expecting a new thread for the new version, for clarity!
Seems Naim does not open “release notes / feedback threads” these days.
And both those topics were still very active, so people just continue on there.
Installed last night. The magic is back. My ND555 has never sounded better.
Highly recommended.

It’s better - much better… but… no hope there will no but.
Only but seems to be that it sounded even better unearthed (floating)
