App slow when hard wired

My ndx2 app is painfully slow when hard wired, it often becomes unresponsive, the album covers or the queue list don’t update and the volume buttons disappear. It works fine over WiFi. Any ideas how I could fix it?

You need to explain a little more I think. Do you mean the App is struggling when the NDX2 is hard wired? If that is the case it’s probably that somehow your phone and the NDX2 are on different networks. You need to ensure they are on the same one.

Have you checked the physical integrity of the network cable on the streamer?
Perhaps try a temporary substitution?

Are you using DHCP on the streamer, or have you assigned a specific “static” IP address?
If the latter, perhaps there’s an IP address conflict? (2 devices using the same IP address?)

Do you only have the one WiFi router device?

If you are running the app on more than one tablet/phone, have you implemented the “stay connected” option, within the app, on any of the devices?
If so, disable that option.

Thanks for all suggestions. I have connected through WiFi and noticed that the app is also lagging using the wireless connection. I’m using a mesh WiFi from Plume. Has anyone else experienced slow na unresponsive app?

Anyone? I think the mesh might be the problem here. I think it all worked fine before installing the mesh. Any ideas how to solve it?

The cable is fine I have checked with another one. I’m using DHCP, have two Plume pods and a router which is not brodcasting. Stay connected is switched off.
