App Update

Hi folks. Saw that there was an app update so hit the button and now the app can’t find my nd5xs2. Any thoughts? I’ve reset the modem, turned the unit on and off, disconnected the network cable and reconnected and tried to re set up the streamer and reset the app and I get nothing? Any ideas? Thanks

It would help if you told us which app, IOS or Android, running on what device and what your network consists of.

Focal and Naim app devices are nd5xs2 and Uniti2. Nd5xs2 is plugged strait in to the router and app controlled via my home network

Ok. I would check out the privacy settings for the Naim app. You need to make sure that you have given permission for the app to search your local network and location services need to be on and allowed too. The location services in question are not GP obviously, but rather it’s Apple for WiFi.

Do I gather that your Uniti2 is still visible in the app, while your ND5 XS2 isn’t?

Thanks for the info…everything was fine until I did the app upgrade and now the app doesn’t see both units which is strange. Privacy settings are fine. This is a real head scratcher

Left it all overnight then re set everything again and now it’s all up and running…weird :roll_eyes::flushed:
