Hi everyone; I’m after some advice from the collective wisdom of this group. I have an NDX (1) which has a USB port on the front to connect an iPhone/iPod.
Now that Apple Music is lossless, I want to make sure I’m getting the best possible sound quality. So, if I connect my phone into the USB port via its lightening lead, is the sufficient? I have already set the iPhone settings for lossless, max hi res quality, Dolby Atmos etc. It plays nicely but is it lossless? Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance.
It will be lossless up to 44.1 only you won’t get any higher than that as the iPod connector doesnt support higher. So any hires content will be converted down.
