I think I know where you mean, it’ll certainly not be as peaceful as where you are now 
. But, if you do have to postpone, you’ll have the second half of the year to see how you feel about the volunteer transportation and home delivery services which you may also want to utilise when you’re ready to move.

I know how you feel. My brain injury does the same thing to me, nearly 10 years after the event. Stressful situations become just too much and it feels like my brain is shutting down. And moving is extremely stressful….. Take your time, these is no need to rush.

I have an iPhone 11 which I bought new 4 years ago. It was my first smartphone and I’m ok with it. It’s now got 79% battery health.
Can anyone recommend an iphone model that I could ‘upgrade’ to right now which perhaps has a larger screen, and is not more complicated for someone like myself who doesn’t like phones.
I’m happy to buy secondhand, but I suppose I could buy new if that was needed.
An iPhone is an iPhone upgrading wouldn’t make the device more complicated.
If you have a look on the Apple web site there is a compare iPhone models.
If you want a larger screen go for Pro or a Pro Max model.

The problem with their website is it only shows the latest phones which are expensive and I’m asking whether anyone can point to tangible benefits compared to an iPhone 11?

I received my new 16-core CPU, 40-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine 64 GByte 2TB storage Mac Studio earlier this year… I have just checked and the price has shot up massively by 38% .. and the lead times are huge at about 3.5 months… for once I timed my purchase right.
Now one of they key drivers as much as the AI server farm boom, especially in terms of raw prices, is the Iran/US war, and now the latter I believe has a cease fire agreement we might see prices start to subside again within about 6 months time. The increase in energy prices has been very much felt in South Korea and other Asian chip fabrication plants. It might be best to hold off a purchase right now.
Oil prices have already recovered back to pre conflict levels.
I was looking at purchasing a MacMini M5 & an iPhone this year.
I can wait until next year. Or the year after.
If you google “apple compare iPhones” you can compare as far back as an iPhone 7.
Basically your current iPhone after the new IOS release that will come out Q3 26 will no longer get updates only security patches that are deemed important.
I guess with only $112 billion in profits in 2025 after a lowly 20% increase from the previous year it was sink or swim for Apple lol. Price gouging is everywhere these days, even HiFi. (gasp)

Actually apologies… I’ve just discovered that the current Apple price rises do not apply to iPhones in the UK.
Only other types of kit such as iPads or laptops I think…
I moved from iPhone 11 pro (bought in 2019) to standard iPhone 17 two months ago. Very happy with it. Much better screen and faster opening apps esp banking. Cameras great including macro. Bought as I read many great reviews and that Apple were likely to increase prices for the next release which has been delayed to 2027.

interestingly enough, when I pulled the trigger on a mini, phone, and MBA at the same time it was the lead time that got me moving and not the price
I think the lead time on the Mini M4 w 24GB RAM was like 4 months
