The NA8005 must be a superb sounding front end - I still have difficulty getting rid of the older Marantz NA7004 because as a streaming transport the sound quality is way better than it should be! A bit of an under the radar bit of kit (crap software however, use mconnect or similar - or LMS with Airplay plugin streaming to the built in Apple Airplay of the Marantz).
My current streamer is a dCS Network Bridge into a vintage Arcam Black Box 2 DAC (this will give you the warmth you are looking for) then out into a Croft Integrated for the funk and drive I like.
