ATC 19 Jumper Cables

Obviously there is absolutely no requirement to upgrade manufacturer supplied cables or accessories at all, even if these are rather basic. I was just making the point that one could achieve superior performance by doing so. At a price of course…..

I think I’ll look into NACA5 jumpers for the ATC’s

When I look up F connections on Googly it comes up with a 75 ohm coaxial connector which can’t be right

From what I can make out HH uses a ‘piggyback’ type of wiring system, it looks very neat to me

I guess I could just make my own jumpers from a bit of NACA5, spade LF to banana HF

F connection is a way of terminating your main speaker cables so that additional jumpers or bars are not required. Something like this:

Naim right angled banana plugs are ideal for this.

Think of a capital letter F with the lower “horizontal” section going to the bass terminals and the upper section to the mid/treble. It uses the same cable throughout.

Here’s another picture courtesy of @Mike-B.

All my current speakers are active or single terminal so can’t show a picture from home, but I have used that connection method in the past.

Great thanks for clarification, I totally understand it now

However I don’t want to mess with my lovely pair of NACA5 cables in any way so I think I’ll make my own NACA5 jumpers… I have a good soldering iron and somewhere I have some silver solder and suitable spades & banana’s for the job

That’s sensible if your cables are already made up. If you’re interested and prepared to search there was at least one forum thread on jumpers fairly recently.

Super thanks PM

I will almost certainly make my own jumpers and actually enjoy doing it too
