Just bought an atom on the 11th of December. The apple music app on my samsung S20 fe 5g doesn’t detect the atom. Same is the case with the amazon music. Spotify doesn’t have this problem. I think I will return atom. Only apple music provides high-res music in India. Can’t access Tidal or Qubuzz. Naim hasn’t been very helpful. They keep blaming the android phone, the mesh network etc. Point is that the distributor is also now facing the same problem with all Naim units. In fact, things are worse at his end because the songs seem to be skipping with his units.
Looks like I’m having similar problems.
I started a thread “Casting BBC Sounds Android” a few days ago. I’ve tried all the suggestions but still can’t cast. Just tried to cast Amazon Music, which I don’t use, can’t cast that either, well not to my Atom.
I emailed naim support today detaling everything I’ve tried, hoping they can come up with a solution.
Very unlikely. I have tried everything they told me to do and still failed. Now, even the distributor has thrown up his hands as the problem seems to be across NAIM products. In fact, his problems are worse, if anything.
