BTW: I am using Grimm TPR cables, which are studio grade cables developed in cooperation with the Wisseloord Studios, a recording facility in The Netherlands. I find them to be much cheaper than other top cables with similar performance. For me they outperformed the Canare and Mogami cables who sounded artificial compared to the Grimm cables. They are pretty much compareable to the AudioQuest Earth I used before.
I use a 3m XLR-XLR pair towards the active speakers and a 3m RCA-XLR pair towards the subwoofer. The total investment was less than 250 euros including shipping and they do sound excellent.
