I settled on an Atom and passive Acoustic Energy AE500 speakers and dedicated stands. Love the simplicity and lack of future upgrade temptations, gives a much bigger, punchier sound than I’d imagined.

It sounds a good combination.
Please don’t forget decent speaker cables and power cords . The same equipment can still produce better sounds

I was also after a ‘simple’ system with the Atom HE and active ATC’s but unfortunately it just didn’t gel with me enough
I therefore went passive 19’s
Well done to get to a system that you enjoy hearing your music through Dalmatian
If you ever felt the need to upgrade the amp you could easily do that with maybe an XS3/SN3
