Following the latest firmware update my Atom now has terrible distortion on the right hand channel and comes up with a message “ amplifier over-current condition detected “. Nothing else has changed and I’ve never had an issue with it before. I swapped the speaker wires over to see if it’s a speaker issue (PMC twenty5 21i with Chord speaker wire) but it’s definitely a right channel problem with the atom. I’ve carried out a factory reset but it’s still the same issue.
Does this sound like a return to Naim problem?
Sounds like it. Probably best to disconnect and take to your dealer.

Bevor you should try a factory reset

Firstly unplug any connected speakers and the power cable.

Press the Play/ Pause and Input buttons on the front panel while powering up the Uniti Atom.

Continue to hold for 5 seconds.

Release the Play/ Pause and Input buttons.

Wait for the Uniti Atom to complete the factory reset and go into Stand-by.

Press the Power button to power up the product.
