Atom vs CXN V2

Hi some help please which may or may not be hypothetical. I’m considering moving on my Cambridge CXN V2 streamer and replacing it with a Naim Uniti Atom (will also be moving out some Naim Olive items - box counting).

At the moment I have a mains powered hard drive with 33000 tracks on it plugged into a USB input on the Cambridge and would like to adopt the same approach for the Atom. I’m sure I’ve read that there’s a limit of 20000 tracks on an USB connection on the Atom. Can anyone help me out with this please?

Ok, I have the facts! There is no active capping on the number of files, but we do have recommended limits - these are the quantities we’ve tested to and are happy will work fine. For Uniti players/Naim streamers, we’d recommend around 1000 albums/10,000 tracks For Uniti Core - a more dedicated music-management device - we’d recommend 10,000 albums/100,000 tracks

With that number of tracks, it might be best considering a upnp server on a nas or computer.
