Audivarna studio Synology NAS

Hi forum,

Wonder if anyone can guide pls - have just installed audivarna studio on my Synology NAS to access streaming services etc. in the audivarna remote I can see connection to NDS as output device. However when I play a Qobuz file I get the following message -“Audirvana has not received any incoming audio data request from the audio device over the network.

Please check your computer firewall settings to ensure Audirvana is allowed to accept incoming network requests.”

Grateful for any pointers. Thank you

Update

After a few hours of playing around I finally managed to get Audivarna studio installed and working on Synology NAS output into NDS. Working beautifully and has added a dimension to the NDS.

Having listened to the NS333/NPX300 and Linn exact dual organic dsm last week, the NDS/555dr remains a formidable proposition and, in my view, more than holds its own against the newer competition in sound quality stakes. Given me good reasons not to scratch the upgrade itch for some time to come!
