Sad to learn of the passing of Augie Meyers. Founder, along with Doug Sahm, of the Sir Douglas Quintet and the Texas Tornados. His Vox organ helped to give both bands their unique sound. He also made contributions to the Dylan albums Time Out of Mind and Love and Theft and to albums by many other artists. He also had a long and successful solo career.
