How important are the RCA’s from the amp to the avr? Think it makes difference? Din to RCA?
In the past, I have had to use ground-loop isolators, which are in-line components in an otherwise standard RCA interconnect. Elimination of earth-loop hum, where it exists, trumps any subtle benefits from high-end cables.
An alternative solution to the hum was to disconnect CATV service from any part of the AV system, which was not practical for me at the time, as it was connected to the TV, DVR, and the avr itself for FM. If all of your AV sources are local, my experience does not apply, I think.
