Rick Beato’s analysis of Joni’s song Amelia from the album Hejira. This is probably my favourite Joni studio album. Rick clearly loves and understands this song too.
Great listen. What a song.
I really love this rhythmic beat of the song, and the sound of the language really adds to this lively music.
Unusual, beautiful version with interesting solos..
The new short animation from Kate Bush in collaboration with War Child. Set in Ukraine and rather moving

This is from Twitter, a wonderful blues by the Jazz at Lincoln Centre Orchestra.

A year year before they became global megastars, ABBA weren’t known as ABBA - they were Benny & Bjorn, Agnetha & Frida. Here they are in early 1973, on the Austrian pop show “Spotlight”, doing “Ring Ring”. At the time Agnetha had just given birth to a daughter and couldn’t travel, so was replaced - as here – by Frida’s mate Inger Brundin for a couple of West German and Austrian promo appearances. So Inger is kind of the Jimmy Nicholls of ABBA, really.
Note Frida is having a great time miming and mugging for Björn and the cameras.

Am I allowed non YouTube video?
This is from BBC i-player and is far superior to any of the YouTube versions that are available.
The quality of her live performance is sheer magic, no auto tune for her voice and instrument playing.
Thanks for that. Just watching. Excellent.
As the thread owner, yes of course.
