I’d rather stab my eardrums with a crayon than listen to Kid Rock. Bad Bunny I have no opinion on as I’ve never heard him and tend to avoid popular music.
EDIT: And “avoiding the politics” of the Kid Rock et al “performance” is impossible because you would have to be of a very specific part of the political spectrum to seek out that particular show.
Bad Bunny Tiny Desk Concert was instructive for me. Funny, dirty and sad by turns. I learned a little about Puerto Rico too. I’m not a Spanish speaker, so the subtitles are handy. Recommended for the curious.
Edit @mikehughescq I see you posted the video above, which I missed. But no harm in linking to it again. The tunes remind me of Buena Vista Social Club -they are Latino folk tunes I guess. But it is worth paying attention to what he sings.
