I always liked the lettering in these 3 and of cause Roger Deans Yes logo which was absolutely perfect

Not really a logo as such Kev but I always thought the lettering on Animals was perfect.
A bit like the Genesis logo on a Trick Of The Tail

The Doors and Love logos, posted by Stevie at the very top of this thread, were both great. In fact, just everything about Elektra from the mid-Sixties and into the Seventies was hip and - in the terminology of the time - ‘cool’.
On this side of the pond, Yes were lucky to enlist Roger Dean to design their band logo and be responsible for much of the artwork on their record sleeves.
The CD is a pretty pallid relation to the LP in this regard - and much else too!
Motorhead - I had the original silver logo cover with the photo inner sleeve…
